Wed - Clay Studio (3-5)

Students grades 3 - 5 will create different clay projects using slabs, coils, and pinch pots. Students will fine tune cutting, attaching, smoothing and texturing techniques. Students will also paint and glaze their projects.

Clay Studio (grades 3 - 5)
Week 1 – Intros. Review of projects, safety and procedures. Mini project with model magic.
Week 2 – Make food sculpture
Week 3 – Make house tile
Week 4 – Make box
Week 5 – Make coil bowl or picture frame
Week 6 – Mini projects - animals
Week 7 – Glaze
Week 8 – Glaze
Week 9 – Glaze
Week 10 – Glaze
Week 11 – Mini projects - toys
Week 12 – Packaging and take home day
